Plan
Today I’m heading to Essaouira on the coast of Morocco. I’ll stay there a few nights before hitchhiking up the coast to Casablanca. From there I plan to hitch south to Marrakech and catch a flight to my next destination: Italy.
Jebel Sahro Mountains
A few days ago I met two girls at my hostel here in Marrakech. They asked me if I wanted to join them on their unplanned trek into the Jebel Sahro mountain range in the South East of Morocco. Of course I said yes.

Today another local started to persuade me to go to his hotel and then out of nowhere came the guy from yesterday who proceeded to tell the guy that I couldn’t hear or speak, then he shook my hand and they both walked off. Success.
Update
So basically my plan for charging my phone using my solar panel has been foiled by a bout of terrible weather. So instead of relaxing on green pastures, bathing in the sunshine and reading my kindle whilst charging my phone, I have been standing at service station exits in the rain holding a piece of cardboard with my desired destination written on it.
